The First Accumalation of the Season...and other Ramblings..

Wow, we got our first accumalative snow of the season yesturday/last night. It looks real pretty I suppose. This just means that I have to go out and buy the girls another pair of snow boots! I'm all proud of myself - At work, we are having a buy one, get one free sale. Well I went through my coupons (yes, I clip coupons) and matched the coupons with what we had on sale. My bill, BEFORE the coupons and my savings card - $135.72. My bill after my savings card - $88.82. My final bill - $76.12. Yeah, that's right!! I did good!! I won't have to grocery shop for the next two weeks. There were some things that automatically came off, so when I looked at my reciept, it says that I saved a total of like $85 or so. Which brings me to my next thought. I am at the top pay rate at my company. I've filled out like 4 other applications to work at other places just to have a little bit of extra money for the holidays. I'm not even getting called back because I make too much money. How do I know this? I talked to people who work at 2 of the places I applied and that is what their manager told them. How messed up is that???? Oh well, it is just giving me more time with the kids, housework, cooking, and finishing up my menu. I'm done with it, I just want to fine tune it some. Then I have to sit down and work on an equipment list. But right now, I have to work on the flyer for our Christmas party at work - Finger Foods - This Maybe Our Last One!!! :(
