Prayer Request
Please pray for my dear friends, Jim and Emilie Miller. Jim was the pastor who married my DH and I and is my spiritual father. He has made great strides in sharing the gospel in such places as South America, India, and Russia.
Dear Friends,
Emilie and I leave for our two weeks in Chile late Monday afternoon (August 21). We consider those of you who provide prayer covering for us as we travel and minister to be an integral part of the team. The following are among the things that we would ask you to pray for:
- That “utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth bodly to make
known the mystery of the gospel” (Ephesians 6:19).
- That the revelation of the character and heart of God would be revealed through
the gospel to free many from shame and self-condemnation.
- That God would give us a hearing hearts as we minister to individuals.
- That we would recognize God’s divine appoints.
- That God would strengthen existing relationships and He would give us new
relationships that we will open up strategic opportunities for future
ministry.
- That we would have safe travel. We will be flying to Chile overnight August
22nd/23rd and back to the U.S. overnight September 4th /5th. We will be
traveling by bus within Chile on August 30th and September 4th.
- That we would be able to sleep on the overnight flight to Chile.
- That we would be given divine energy and strength while in Chile. We
ask you to pray this for us because we leave for this trip already tired and
we are now scheduled to teach in Viña del Mar between our time in Quilpue
and Temuco.
While you are praying, we ask that you also be listening. If God speaks something to you concerning us or the trip, would you please let us know. We will have access to e-mail while in Chile.
