Who will go spread the Good News?

BIBLE MEDITATION: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” Matthew 28:19-20

DEVOTIONAL THOUGHT: Have you ever shared the story of how God saved you with someone else? Some people are afraid of doing that because they are afraid they wouldn’t know what to say. Or they are afraid that someone will ask a question that they cannot answer. Do you ever feel that way? I believe it is okay for you to say, “I don’t know.” It’s not a sin to be ignorant. It’s a sin to be willing to stay that way, though. God has called you to be His witness. Do you know what a Christian is? A witness - someone who has seen, heard, or experienced Jesus Christ - nothing more, nothing less. Jesus did not call us to be lawyers to argue a case. He called us as His witnesses. Will you be His witness today?

If you have never shared your testimony with someone, perhaps it is because you do not know what to say. The best advice we can offer is to first, be a good listener. Listen when someone shares their needs, step in to help meet that need if you can, then ask if you can share what God has done in your life when you have had the same needs. Where can you sow seeds today?
