Saw and Poker
So last night, I hooked up with my friends Joey and Sarah and the gang for a scary movie and poker. First can I just say that I haven't screamed as loud and as many times as I did last night watching the movie Saw. What a messed up movie, for those of you who don't know (and don't worry I didn't know what it was about until I started watching it) it is about a psycho terminally ill guy who decides that ppl don't appreciate life enough, so he puts them in messed up situations like being chained to a pipe, and the only thing near you is a saw, and you are told that you must get out by a certain time or else you will be dead. And you guessed it, in order to get out you must saw off your leg... MESSED UP!!!!! WRONG!!! WHO COMES UP WITH THIS STUFF!!
It has Danny Glover in it, and I kept hoping the entire movie that Mel Gipson would hop out mullet and all and save the day, and then make a cocky remark to make everything okay.... i never got this satisfaction..........
So after feeling completley creepy and weirded out (there are no warm and fuzzies at the end of this movie) I played texas hold 'em with my friends. I was doing pretty well (I ended up taking out one of my friends twice.... he left kinda pissed), until 1:30 in the morning and I just couldn't take it anymore. I decided that if my next hand was somewhat decent, I would put it all in. So next hand, King and Queen of spades (are you kidding me) so yeah I put it all in, and I was beat by pocket kings (WTF!!!) oh well, at least I got to go home and get some sleep....
So off to finish my day...
