I REALLY fucking HATE Bo.
Today started off pretty rough, but overall has been a great day. When I got home last night Ryan wasn't home, and I later found out he was staying the night at a friends house. So I tried to find a ride to training before I went to bed, with no luck. Ryan finally showed up around 10:30, when I was supposed to be to work (a half-hour drive) at 9:30. So I was a bit late. But Jack didn't seem to mind that much, he understands that I am relying on someone else for transportation, and at my store I am (almost) always fifteen minutes early.
It was slow all day, I got so bored I scrubbed the floors. Then I got my lunch break, went to Applebee's and had a couple of martinis for lunch. Prolly wasn't supposed to, but oh well. Then I went back and took a test, passed with flying colors. So I am now certified as a shift leader. Huzzah!
Got my paycheck today, it was quite fat, which is always nice, esp. since I broke my cell last night (dropped it one time too many, I guess) and am gonna have to get a new one tomorrow before work.
Then after our rush, Rhonda (the girl I am replacing as our shift leader) came over and gave me a ride home. I really missed her. We got some Stoley and Kaluah, took a couple of shots. Tomorrow night I am making white russians.
And Monday (or thereabouts) I am going back to my store! I miss the hell out of my store. Sunday is my day off, but I am prolly gonna go up there and help out for a few hours just so I can see how everyone and everything is going.
I am prolly going to open myself a new checking account with my check next Friday, so I am currently working on creating myself a checkbook program. So far, I am working with REALbasic, but am considering making it web-based instead, flexing my muscles with PHP and MySQL. If I do and it works out well, I may allow for multiple users so others can use it, perhaps also releasing the source to someone like SourceForge or Fresh Meat. I'll keep you guys updated on how that turns out.
