Jai just made me happy by being happy.
Does that make sense? *shrugs*
Oh well. I love how, 10:00 in the morning, my alarm goes off... and I've been up for two hours and eaten and everything. XD The fact that I put Violent Femmes in the CD player last night only entertains me more. And the fact that I've been listening to the Beatles and the Clash almost constantly for two days now. You know the Clash, the first CD? I've forgotten how fabulous it is. It makes me wanna bounce around.
Now see, if they had played THAT kind of music at the dance at the last day of school, I would have been rocking out harder than I already was.
Which reminds me, dance? YES. So much fun. And yay for shocking people :D Apparently since I'm serious-ish and calm and organized at school, that means that I can't shake my butt around.
Well, I sure showed them. ^-^
This morning. Started to make pancakes for myself before figuring, what the hell. I'll make pancakes for everyone. Steven was slightly ahead of me and finished the eggs and hashbrowns before I finished, but I still enjoyed cooking. I put a little orange zest and finely-chopped walnuts in, and Mom opened up her favorite blueberry syrup for the occasion. We all ate and had a great time.
In other news? I'm knitting like a crazed maniac. I'm totally in a great mood. I feel like I want to write poetry and lyrics, and not the depressed stuff that's been cranked out of me lately. Some happy stuff. Something genuinely perky. I want to draw. And basically? I love life right now.
