Sooooo approximately 6:45 this morning we woke up, got ready, out the door of our room by what... quarter to seven? Got a quick meal ("Complimentary Breakfast" they call it) and whilst Dad had to do his conference first part of the day, he dropped Mom and I off at Sea World.
...something you should know about me? I. LOVE. Sea World. And not for the fancy smancy food booths or the killer whale shows or for the flippy dolphin tricks. I love it because I honestly LOVE orcas. Lovelove. Little(ish?) known fact about me, orcas are my favorite animal. Ever. Nothing compares to their grace, intelligence, stealth, just... nothing comes close. <3<3
And that's orcas alone. I'm a big marine life geek. Orcinus orca? Tursiops truncatus? Pinipeds? ...scientific names there for different critters, I've known those since about age six. Yeah. Geek. <3
Needless to say, first thing we did was just... head over to where you can watch the orcas swim underwater. An exhibit most seem to tire of in favor of the flashy lights and music and splashing, but I love to just... run back and forth. Follow the orca around the glass far as I can. Childhood memory there guys.
...I can already see this is going to turn into a giant rant if I'm not careful so I'll try to keep this shortish. We didn't manage most shows, just wandering as Mom and I were, though once we snagged Dad back from his work here we hit the circus show which... djfsakls GUH.

Umum, the sea lion show? Where they spoofed all the other shows? Funniest. Thing. Ever. Yes~
