I hate flying.
I absolutely dread it.
It never used to be this bad but today's flight finally got to me.
First it took 1.5 hours to get to the airport. The plane was delayed 40 minutes, there was minor turbulence before landing in Edmonton which made me very nauseous and I had a connecting flight from there to Abbotsford 30 minutes after landing which did nothing to settle my stomach. And I always get bad headaches. I was nauseous the whole flight and almost threw up while we were landing. Like, seriously tasting the throw up feeling, while body getting clammy, headache dissipating (as it always does before I throw up). I was clutching my throw up bag, praying not to throw up. The only small consolation was that I was in a row by myself.
We landed. I get my rental car...the minute I open the door, throw up wants to happen, because it smells like a new car. New car smell almost always makes me want to throw up. It's also a crappy car...a Subaru Tribeca. I am not a fan. It also doesn't have an iPOD adaptor.
So then I use my best friend's GPS thing to get me to the hotel, even though I had a really simple map and the stupid, piece of shit takes me through the fucking countryside AND residential areas so I end up being 1 hour late (it should have taken about 27 minutes to get to the hotel from the airport).

Anyway, I ate some bad sushi, had some weird plum bubble tea and am now really dying for a shower. Magellan GPS also tried to take me down a one way street while I was plotting my route to work.
Ugh.
Tomorrow should be better. Wednesday...will suck. I will work at 6 am to 2:30 pm and then go back from midnight to 9 am. Thursday will be pass out day.
Friday I fly home. I am seriously considering getting something to knock me out. It seems the older I get the less I can tolerate certain things and flying is one of them.
I just hope I can get really nicely caffeinated while I'm here.
