E-mail, sent Tuesday morning
The closer it got to Thanksgiving, the more Sam wanted to just curl up and let the weekend pass him by. He and Peter were supposed to be spending the holiday together, and every talk of food or the big dinner reminded him that he was going to be alone instead.
Luckily, he still had a few things to keep himself occupied and unswallowed by emo grief. In addition to Thanksgiving dinner, he had an alumni event to plan, and while that didn't come without its own set of Peter-related thoughts, it also gave him the chance to lose himself in organization. This morning, his depression was being put on hold for the sake of sending out e-mail.

Subject: Ideas Needed For Fundraising Event
Hey everyone. On behalf of the Student Council, I'd like to invite you all to an alumni banquet and fundraiser next weekend. The banquet itself will be held on Friday night, but you're welcome to stay for the whole weekend if you'd like. As of right now, we haven't chosen a specific cause to donate money towards at the event, and since the evening is meant for you guys, I figured suggestions should come from you first. If you have any ideas for a good cause to support, send them my way, because I'd love to hear them. Thanks, and I look forward to seeing you all next weekend.
