When a tarot deck knows it belongs somewhere else.many of you have been asking me about tarot and readings. Some of you want a reading but some of you just want to learn yourself and ask for some help or guidance. I love to help! But the reason I'm posting this is because I have an unusual story to tell ( Read more... )

Haha! Yeah, they wanted away from her so badly they had to fly themselves to a new reality. Perhaps that woman had a twisted sense somewhere and they knew it, and just had to be free.
I don't blame them one bit either, heh.

I remember when I received my first deck. My mother gave them to me as a gift, without even knowing I wanted one of my own. What was even more appreciated by myself, was the fact that it had been one I was staring at for about oh, I think it was almost a year, almost every day I went into this store in Illinois. Next thing I know, I come home from school (I don't remember if it was college or highschool) but there they are on my dresser, and I felt they wanted me to use them. I read my little book that came with them, and it took me a few tries, but I really learned how to use them well. Almost scaringly (if thats a word) well.
Lately I haven't read my cards, simply because the headaches and blackouts are too much (they are that strong for me, and I need to mentally strengthen myself to them) but when I do read them, they always feel warm and comfortable. I hope thats a good sign. I'm still new to them, but people still ask me for readings, and I do them if I'm able. I've never charged, nor accepted money. (I did however, except a cup of coffee once ^^)
I was originally going to say about how I kept mine clean (or tried to) when this popped out, guess thats what I needed to share, but heres the original thought I had. I hope mine haven't ever been mad at me, for when I first got them, to keep them clean and safe, I only had a ziploc baggie for them to be stuck into. I did go for a velvet bag (one of those really nice ones) but none ever struck me as a fit for them. I think it was almost 6 years later I found one finally (at the same store I used to stare at them) right on a shelf near a bunch of figurings that always made me smile and comfortable. Since then, I've only added a couple of chevron amethysts into the bag to help my mind clear and I don't think we've been happier. I just hope they aren't angry that I haven't used them yet, but no matter how much time passes, I'm still holding a warm set of cards :)

Oh could you tell me this? Why, with the deck of the crow, do I get bad, stabbing pains in my fingertips? Is this not a good deck, or the deck's holder has bad intentions? I could never get that clearly.

I used to use the crow deck, but the deck itself is a moody one.
I found the crow deck rarely likes anyone and usually gives you a cynical point of view.

consider the crows pecking at your fingertips....

That does make sense. I mean the person who tried giving them to me was always in a moody place, always dark and would snap on you if he could if not just make your night/day miserable. Then one day he's all nice to me, the moment the deck left him. I honestly believed for a few moments that he had most likely let the cards change him. He's been snippy rarely since (I mean everyone has their moments) but that deck to this day is something that just unsettles me. I do like how you put it though, plainly and simple and yet I missed it *laughs*
Pecked fingertips, Definitely the same feeling (had birds)
Thanks again hon *hugs*

The crow deck isn't for everyone. It tends to be for darker people.
The energies have to match.
