Summary: Gus and Shawn discuss their jobs with their waitress.
Author's Note: This is set sometime shortly after Gus starts working for Central Coast Pharmaceuticals. It's very short and my first attempt at Psych fiction.
Shawn and Gus walked into the restaurant and took a seat. Not long after that, their waitress arrived. She was gorgeous. Blonde hair, blue eyes, big tits. Shawn started flirting immediately. Gus simply sat back, looking annoyed as he usually did.
“I’m Wendy and I’ll be your server.” She said with a smile and a wink at Shawn.
“I’m Shawn and this is Gus.” Shawn felt the need to introduce both of them so Gus wouldn’t feel bad. After taking their orders, Wendy came back and took a seat at the table.
“I’m on my break.” She said at the confused looks the two men gave her.
“So, is this your only job?” Shawn asked. He was having to try very hard to look at her face and not her chest.
“No. I’m also an actress.” Wendy replied with a smile.
“An actress. Fascinating.” Shawn said, smiling back.
“What do you do?” She asked Shawn.
“A little of this, a little of that.” Shawn replied with a shrug.
“That sounds fun.” Wendy said. She then looked at Gus. “And what’s your job?”
“He’s a drug dealer.” Shawn said before Gus could answer. Gus gave him a dirty look.
“I am not a drug dealer.” Gus replied. Wendy seemed a bit disappointed.
“What is it that you do, Gus?” Shawn asked.
“I’m in pharmaceutical sales.” Gus replied.
“And pharmaceuticals are?” Shawn questioned with a raised eyebrow.
“Medications.” Gus said proudly.
“And another word for medications is? Help me out here……rhymes with tugs…..” Shawn snapped his fingers repeatedly and closed his eyes as if searching his brain for the answer.
“Drugs.” Gus muttered.
“What was that?” Shawn asked.
“Drugs.” Gus said a little louder, rolling his eyes. Shawn smiled at Wendy and winked.
“You see? Drug dealer. It’s just the drugs that you deal are legal.” Shawn said. Gus didn’t talk to Shawn for the rest of the day.
