I've rounded third base... heading home.... aaaaaaaaand dropping the baseball analogy.
My research paper's just about done, and while I don't really feel as though it's the most fantastic piece of work I've produced, and while the whole research essay writing process is sort of like pulling teeth, it ends up feeling pretty good in the end. I've written about 3500 words, and this isn't nearly enough... but I'm not allowed to write more. I feel like I should write another 15 pages, and then I'll be happy. I learned so much and it's so hard to condense what I've learned into 10-ish pages.
I could easily write a 25 page paper on history that I knew NOTHING about a month and a half ago. And it was an entirely independent study.
That, my friends, is what it's all about.
