To Bam, my sky sweetness, it was a belated Mothers' Day celebration.
To Anissa, my fort darling, it was an advanced Teachers' Day celebration.
To Rahidah, my favourite supervisor, it was a Graduation ceremony.
To me, Sentosa's Littlekoreangirl, it was a night of great satisfaction seeing the smile on Rahidah's face.
Me : "Hey babe, I have something for you."
Rahidah : "Hmmmm, what is that?"
Me : "Open it up and see if you will like it." :)
Rahidah: "Okay, *opens up the box* OH MY GOD! *gasp* "
Rahidah : "Look what she got for me! Angels! :) "
Me : "Hope you loved it! :) "
Rahidah : " Oh yes, I do. Thank you. It is so sweet of you. :) "
Me : " Taaadaa! Rahidah's 3 angels! :)"
This was actually a re enactment of the real thing. I gave it to her on the Sentosa Express but the photos Anissa took was so blurry it didn't do any justification to the whole thing which was seriously just satisfying. I truly felt the great satisfaction and joy upon seeing a smile on her face when she opened the box up and saw the 3 angels. What I pictured of her receiving the gift from me when buying the gift was exactly what I received from her today.
The price of happy-ness and seeing the smile on your loved one's face?
Priceless.
K said I was sweet when I told her that I got the gift just for Rahidah. & Rahidah just emphasized and with the additional word of "SO". So am I sweet? Heh, very diabetic to those who knows me well enough.. ;)
Thank you Rahidah for the dinner and also for the listening ear. I appreciate it a lot. You really made my day today just by listening to me and enlightening me with your advices and wise words. You truly deserved more than just a box of 3 glass angels with some nice, sweet words in it. I wouldn't mind you being my mum like LOL but ahem* I don't like my mum to be tooo young like a 10years age different and doesn't look like her age! :p I don't want people to mistook me for your mum or big sister! You can be my jiejie okay? & yes, littlekoreangirl loves you. :))
