(no subject)
It's that time again where little Kate logs on and says something to the effect of
"I'm sorry i've been such a stranger. I still don't have the internet at home and i'm so busy what with school and all..."
Okay here is the update regardless. Kate's life is a little whirlwind of excitement right now!!
* We've been working on the play now for a few weeks. In Act 1 I have a small roll as a daughter of a wealthy family. In Act two we see my main character. Mrs. Freda Brigstock. A married working class woman who is hysterical as she fears her reputation may be at stake due to her husband kissing another woman at work. Excellent scene. In Act three we have a model show. I am one of the models, first adorned in a dress and secondly adorned in (next to nothing) black undies and stockings. I'm the only model that would do it! So yes- the play is going well, and we'll be performing in weeks (little scream)
*It's nearly the end of term and I have lots of assessments coming up! I have to do a poem. Mine is 'For Desire' by Kim Addonizio. I have to do a movement piece, a Shakespeare and a modern monologue; I have a stage combat assessment, and my play to name but a few! It's a lot of hard work, and I’m in need of summer break, but I’m enjoying it and giving it my all.
*After school finishes I’m going camping with some mates in my year, and then in September I’m heading to the Caribbean with my folks. Yes I’ve reached the age where a free holiday is appealing again!! ;)
*I've got somewhere to live next year! wooooooooooohoooooooo! I'm living near the station in Oxford with my mate Sarah, in a house share with two lovely chicks we met through relentless advertising. It's a nice house in a convenient place and they have a pet doggie! :)
*My boyf's band is going well. They played a peace festival yesterday which was a lot of fun!
*I'm trying to sell my old flute if you know anyone who might be interested???
*I'm hoping to do some modelling over the summer so do contact me if you've got any ideas.
*It's just been everyone I knows birthday and I’m back in dept! I got my boyfriend a day sphereing!!!
You get strapped to the inside of a giant ball and thrown down hills! How hot?!
