Dude what, how many goddamn axes do you have crammed into this!!??? xD IDEK WHAT TO SAY OTHER THAN WOW, this is real effort! I especially dig they way you used crop closeness on two axes to extend the possibilities for different crops. Somehow you were able to pull off this herculean effort to use this many axes, it checks out no matter which way I look at it, so massive props for that! :O

All the close crops are specatular, I especially love the unusual almost painting-like coloring in 3 and the absolutely sublime use of lighting and contrast in 5!

BUT WOW, the complex square, I don't even know where to start!! All the text work and compositions are just so impressive! *__*
10 for example has such a fun posteresque look, love the fonts, the texture use and the color separated silhouettes. 17 might be my favorite of the entire set, the whole composition just looks so unusual and wonderful, especially love what you did with the text. Or maybe 16 is my top favorite, it's so weird and cool with the text that keeps changing directions, and the font for Strange is so fun and I don't even know how you made that silhouette outline thing but it looks great, I just love your imagination for compositions. 14 is another super cool composition, I didn't notice at first that the pattern is people :O Just wow! I also admire the bold text use on 12 and 15.

I'm trying to be a bit more reasonable with my comments, as you recently advised, so even though the extras are full of incredible stuff. I hope it's enough if I just list my faves without further explanations: 27, 28, 38, 52, 65, 67, 75 and 76. All of these are just specatular and I keep being impressed with how many high quality icons you make in a month!

The answer is of course ALL THE AXES! ALL OF THEM! xD
Actually, crop closeness was supposed to be only on the x axis, but it happened a couple of times on the y axis early on, so I decided to go with it!
Also. If you compare the icons in the bottom square with the icons in the top square, you'll notice that crop closeness happened even on the z axis - the simple icon almost always has a closer crop than the complex icon in the same spot, the exceptions being 6-15 and 9-18, where it's hard to tell which one is closer. But since I didn't do this on purpose, I decided to omit crop closeness on the z axis.

As usual, I'm thrilled that you like my text and compositions, because you know I think you're the best at complex icons ♥ ♥ ♥
And yes! The pattern in 14 is people xD Grim reapers follow Death wherever he goes and they're all dressed in black and I wanted to make something like this painting of Magritte combined with this one. I tried to use the screencaps, like this one, but it didn't work, so I used the original painting in the end.

Wow those art inspirations are super cool :O I should try looking at art for inspiration if it helps come up with such awesome icon concepts. And I love that extra crop closeness dimension!
