I use Old Spice deodorant now and it may or may not totally be all Isaiah Mustafa's fault.
Also, my family psych professor has us looking up stuff on the "Tiger Mom," Amy Chau. This shit's bananas. This lady seems to be of the school of parenting that says that kids receiving less than an A+, and performing below her very, very high expectations just need to be ridiculed and put down until they start achieving. SHAME PAVES THE WAY TO EXCELLENCE, DON'T YOU KNOW.
Granted, I'm not a parent, probably won't be and didn't have shinning examples in the field. But in order to make a child well rounded and healthy they need social interaction, they need to have FUN. Not to have their mothers threatening to burn their stuffed animals when they can't perfect a violin piece. But hey Chau, if you want to exploit your children, using them for to boost your own status and self esteem while cashing in on their fucked up childhood experience for your book deal, you go right ahead.
