Bye, Ten. It's been real.

I signed up for villainny's Sex is Not the Enemy Fic/Art-athon. It's going to be a one-off challenge based on pictures from a blog of the same name. It's not fandom specific and looks like it'll be fun. (Do it.)

This past weekend BBCA aired Tennant's last Who episode.

Overall I really liked it, though I suspect RTD may have overdosed on awesome in his frantic attempt to cram in all the epic possible since he's passing the scepter to Moffat. I also suspect he's a not so closeted Master/Doctor shipper with a bondage fetish (You could be BEAUTIFUL). Lucy Saxon was a totally BAMF. Timothy Dalton was scary and a total beotch. And Wilf was awesome, maybe too much so for his own good because now I totally ship him with Ten.

The end of the episode was kind of WTF Moment, though. How did Martha end up with Mickey of all people. WHAT HAPPENED TO TOM? THEY WERE ENGAGED YOU GUISE -continuity fail. Also, Jack/Alonso? Wut? Doctor (and RTD), you can not wipe away all the angst pushed onto Jack in Children of the Earth just by playing matchmaker. It's cute, but not good enough. (Team Edward, Team Jacob, that's all bullshit, I'm on Team Jack.)

In the end, I wasn't the Tenth Doctor's biggest fan, but Tennant will be missed. Along with his pinstriped suites and geek glasses.

Life needs more melodica.
