today I received a paycheck full of free money (the holiday bonus). what did I do with it? I hightailed it to B&H and bought myself two very pretty little toys. yes, TWO. they serve very different and useful purposes.

niccccce. i'm planning on spending whatever money i make selling my stuff on saturday (plus some new credit card debt i'm sure) on this body:



out of curiosity, why'd you choose the casio? i like the casios for many reasons, but i would've expected you to choose a canon or a nikon...

oh, i just needed (ok, wanted) a compact point and shoot camera for purely snapshot purposes and nothing more. it was cheap and um...i just think they are cute :p and i read they are decent, i just need decent! i mean, it's just pics of friends and such.

i was researching the d80 but i already had ancient pentax lenses that work with the k100, and i have read such great reviews. mostly i didnt want to invest in all these nikon lenses when i already own pentax. hooray for camera-whoring!

haha i see, yeah the casios are definitely cute and totally decent. (and they have the best video quality if you're ever gonna use that.)

and, yeah totally, if i had pentax lenses i'd get the pentax also, i've heard good things too. i have nikon lenses though, so all i need is the body, which won't be tooooo much with my employee discount. i second that hooray! (i'm already at over 30 cameras...)

hooray for employee discounts! you should def go with the nikon if you already have the lenses.
