I think there comes a point in every girls life where she comes to the realization that there lives a little piece of their mom in themselves.
Now for most girls, this is truely horrifying, because we all see our moms imperfections with much more criticism than the rest of the world does.
At least... I usually do.

We got in a fight today because I canceled out on coming to her house. I currently have 27 dollars in my bank account and my mom lives in lake norman.
I don't get my next paycheck till next Friday... clearly, going to Lake Norman is a bad idea.

My mom offers to come to my apartment, and I say no. Ok. I can see how she may be a little upset about this. I always tell her my apartment isn't clean enough. See, my mom has obsessive cleaning disorder, so she's always cleaning.
When I was a little girl, she'd make me miss out on saturday morning cartoons to start cleaning the house. She would ground me daily for things like wrapping my sandwich in aluminum foil as opposed to seran wrap.
My apartment looks like a tornado blew threw it.
I really really really don't want her to see my house.

She thinks I'm trying to avoid her. I'm not. I offered to meet her somewhere, but for some reason shes saying she doesn't want to.

UGHHHHH!!!!

So she pulls this massive guilt trip, bitch-out and pretty much hangs up on me.
I tried to call her over and over and she won't pick up. I know she thinks that I'm trying to avoid her, but truthfully, thats not it at all. I love my mom dearly.
Shes beautiful and strong. She's dealt with a lot in her life and I'm proud of her.
My family says a lot of things about her, I'm not sure if any of it is true or not. It really doesn't matter because she isn't the same person she was 20 years ago. When I think about the person I was just three years ago, I see a completely different person.
Anyway, just had to get that off my chest.
