At least I got Sunday off

I don't think I anticipated doing such things to myself. If it's not papers it's presentations, if it's not presentations it's data analyzing, or the hospital, or Gamestop, or the lab, or just keeping my word. Something which I've found myself breaking more recently due to poor planning on my part or just exhaustion.

I met my favorite author, Michael Chabon over the weekend. He signed my first edition of the Amazing Adventures of Kavalier and Clay. I even chatted with him for a few moments before I was rushed out of line. It was mostly for creative writers. I felt much out of my element. He was surprised that I made time just for his books. He told me to take more breaks. I was quite giddy afterward. The proper term I believe is "intellectual man-crush." A person that constructs sentences as he should receive medals on a yearly basis. It saddens me that the Da Vinci Code gets more notice, and Ann Coulter is more well known.

I should get back to my presentation. Aptameric adventures await.

When time will once again be so disposable as it has been is unbeknownst to me. I have movies to see and books to read. I picked up The God Delusion thus increasing my collection of Dawkins to 4.

Full work week this week. At least I'll have my birthday off when it rolls around. Jazz club and the Prestige. Then I work from 7PM to 7 AM on the Saturday following.
