I had my social policy exam today. It was worth 50% of our total marks for the unit so it was an important one.
I hadn't really studied all that much, but what I DID do was download last year's exam paper to study from. A lot of the questions matched up with parts of my lecture notes that I'd highlighted because Belinda gave some not so subtle hints they'd be questions on the exam. Which got me thinking...a lot of things matched up, and why would she rewrite such a huge exam when the lecture content was the same? So I put all my effort into studying the past exam paper questions.
Got into the exam, ten minute reading time, I open up the exam paper and it's IDENTICAL to last year, except for one question. I sat back in my chair grinning like an idiot, then looked around the room and saw a few others with similar expressions. Obviously the people who had bothered to download the past exam. I was finished in literally 15 minutes, didn't even have to think about any of the questions, I knew it all straight away.
