Mmm, Friday.
Nothing too new or different going on. Home life is going just fine. Work is worse and worse, but instead of telling you about yesterday's gross atrocity of Epic Managerial Keysmash Fail, I think I'll take another day or two to calm down and instead give you The Friday Five.
I haven't done it for a while, but I like it, so here you go:
1. Have you ever dressed up as a Disney character?
No - as a small child, I was well aware that looking like a Disney character was too far beyond my mother's ability. And when I was no longer a small child, I was too involved with helping the younger ones dress up to bother with dressing myself up.
2. What was your favorite Disney movie growing up?
I can't remember watching too many of them, but I did love Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella and Lady and the Tramp.
3. Which Disney character can you relate to the most?
Belle, with her books; Mulan, doing what needed doing; Mary Poppins, fixing things up and then backing away quietly; Hercules, searching for answers - I could probably find someone I identify with in some way in any of the movies I've seen, really.
4. Have you ever been to a Disney theme park?
Once - the summer I was 17 we went to Disney World/Epcot for marching band. I've never been back, but I want to go.
5. When does someone become "too old" for Disney?
Well, when they stop believing in possibilities; when wonder and hope and dreaming are so far down the list that the individual doesn't think of them, indulge in them, or worse yet, scoffs at them in others. I don't ever want to be too old for Disney.
