Last night I walked down Corydon holding a massive Gelate in my hand with Francine, Sean and Eric. The further we walked the more it felt like we were in the heart of the city. Everyone was there.. Right at the central point there were these beautiful drum beats vibrating through the pavement. I felt lifted by the tunes. The police pulled up in their suits with their wepons and told the free man to stop putting life into the city, you need to turn it down or turn it off. The drummers said "we can`t just turn it down.. otherwise it has no soul." They turned it off... Like a body; corydon is the heart, and the music pumped through the streets like veins and blood. And it flowed through the city for a little while, then the hate started to steam on the curb. The men took their daughters and whispered "fucking pigs" I smiled and loving his surreal tounge. We walked a bit farther and found a band playing on their front lawn so I decided to join. The stand up bass was naked and had no sides. I forgot how to use my fingers which made things harder. Things look different now that I have a new set of eyes. Especially when I can feel the textures..
"can you turn it down"
No, get off the phone.
