So... the author apparently missed the point of the show. Of course the mysteries are easily solved, you see what Shawn sees. The show is more about the characters than it is the individual mysteries. This is, for lack of a better word, dumb.

Exactly! You pretty much can figure out significant plots because of the beginning montage with young Shawn and his dad. And then, yeah, you solve it with Shawn because you see what he sees.

Yeah. I don't understand what somebody who's "stupid when it comes to solving mysteries" is doing reviewing TV anyway. These aren't real mysteries, they're television plots. My roommate and I play a game to see who can spot the villain the second they're introduced. We almost always get it right because we're not complete morons there is always a formula to it, even the REALLY well written ones.

Granted, it's an area that particularly interests me and I've actually devoted time and study to it which most people don't bother with, I fail to see what qualifies this guy to review anything, other than his apparent ownership of both a television and a computer.
