There are some things that I've noticed about Shawn and Gus that just make me smile.

Actually in some ways I think they are closer than many couples I know. Even people who regularly swap spit the traditional way aren't always comfortable eating and drinking from each other's food. I think, slashy or not, it is a lovely little detail that just emphasizes how close they are and how long running their friendship has been. :D

Shawn had no problem finishing Gus' cereal even given that it was the same milk Gus had been eating cereal with and using the same spoon Gus had just been using.

That cracked me up so much. Shawn can't finish cereal that Gus's finger has been in, and yet he can eat from the same bowl that Gus has been eating out of. Oh, Shawn, you make so little sense sometimes, and yet that is why I love you.

The way I see it, and my friend, is that Shawn can't be 100% certain where Gus' hands have been but there's a limited amount of possibilities for where his mouth has been.

I'm pretty sure Gus put his finger in his ear first. Like a wet willie for cereal. I could be wrong though, I'll have to catch that epi on a rerun.

but that's not all that umcommon. loads of people share drinks ad food and stuff and most of them are not romantically involved or sharing serious sexual tesion or whatever you're aiming at.
