Since it's written in character, I think it's safe to say that it exists in the Psychverse as well, though it's never been mentioned on the show. So let's have a story about Twitter. How did Lassie end up with a Twitter in the first place? Doesn't it seem a bit odd that a guy who likes to keep everything closed off and to himself would broadcast his thoughts to the world? And what happens when Shawn finds it? Does Jules have one too? The possibilities are endless here!
