So here is Shawn Spencer, psychic consultant for the Santa Barbara Police Department. In truth, he has no psychic powers at all, just a very keen and observant mind wrapped up in a personality weaned on '80s pop culture. He comes from the USA Network comedy detective series Psych. Science fiction and fantasy are much too nerdy for him to have developed much interest, which means he's unable to canon-puncture most of the pups in Haurvatat. Unless you'd like him to. He might have absorbed a fact or two from Gus. He might also use his knowledge to "read" familiar characters in the village. Once again, let's work something out.
