I got a job!! I'm very excited about this. I had my interview yesterday and then started today (yay for quick turn-arounds!). I now work in the accounting office of the civil engineering department. My first day went very well. Everyone seemed very nice and my work seems like it will be varied enough to keep me interested. I was there 6.5 hours and it felt like nothing. I don't know why I ever worry about things- I always get so secure with whatever I have, panic when the floor appears to fall out from beneath me, and then wonder why I ever allow myself to panic when I realize how blessed I always end up. Someday (soon) I'll learn a lesson perhaps (or internalize, since I guess I already know it). I get $8.50/hr and can work up to 40 hours a week during the summer- that's a lot of potential money. Another bonus: Deviney has the same position I do in the front the of the office, so we'll be working together a lot.
I can add Angie and Deviney to the list of people I've seen since coming back, and tomorrow I'm meeting up with Heather after work. Seriously, if you want to do something let me know- my schedule is still really flexible. Just not Tuesday, Wednesday, and maybe Thursday next week due to having my wisdom teeth removed.
