well i did manage to get a follow up with an orthopedic surgeon. yesterday at 1030am i was told i have to stay home from work AT LEAST another week. on top of that i may need surgery to reattach my ligaments depending on how i heal over the next three weeks. i am in a fracture boot and still on crutches. i am frustrated. i want it to be better already. it really really hurts too. it is throbby and achy today really bad.
when the doctor was looking at it he slid the bottom part of my foot back and forth and said "you see this? it isn't supposed to do this it is supposed to be attached and not move this much." apparently i tore COMPLETELY through two ligaments and a membrane as well.
my boss is IRRITATED to say the least. can't fire me though dr tullous filled out fmla papers and if they fire me i can sue them.
on the bright side of things... it will give me time to get loads done as far as my writing goes. i am irritated i missed my weekend to come to dayton that is my one stress relief all month and i really miss all my friends. i would really have liked to have seen kelly's home too. i miss everyone so much. with anna sick and matt's grandma on deathwatch though i guess it is a good thing i couldn't come down this weekend cause EVERYONE is having issues not just me.
i am depressed i have to spend the next week at home!!! ggggggrrrrrrrrrr. on the bright side we will be taking lily back to daycare so i will get quiet time to work and maybe hopefully a little bit of alone time with nick.
on the subject of nick... he has been fantastic. since this happened he has come out to my house every night to help with supper and lily and getting me things i need. he has been so wonderful. last night he helped me get lily to bed then he stayed and watched a movie with me. he had never seen Super Troopers and it is ssssooooo funny, i was glad he stayed a while and spent more time with me. it is hard for him during the week cause he gets up as early as i do. i guess it is a good thing our new apartment has two full bathrooms so when we move in together in april we will be able to get ready for work at the same time without being in each others way.
