I sent a cathartic email to my favorite author in the whole wide world to thank him for always making me laugh when i am down. It tells him that his sense of humor is a thick salve for all the wounds life has given me. It also tells him that he is my inspiration and the whole reason i wrote my book was to try to make him laugh in return. HE ANSWERED ME. he said my email really touched him and that he has been hurt alot in life which led him to write and try to have a sense of humor. He said it is a beautiful cycle and that he is thrilled his writing has meant so much to someone. He also said HE WOULD LOVE TO READ MY BOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! when it is published he wants me to drop him an email to let him know and he will send me the address where he is living to ship him a copy.
WOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO i think that single email he sent me makes up for all the bad shit that has happened recently. MY IDOL EMAILED ME. i mean granted he has answered every single email that i have ever sent but this one felt different and was FULL of encouragement. Maybe i will meet my goal. Maybe he will read my book and it will make him laugh out loud and give him back some of the joy he has given me.
