first entry
Well this is going to be my journal for my psychohistory class, its anonymous so I don't embarrass myself. In this journal I am just going analyze things that happen in my life from a psychological stand point.. feel free take make comments but just be aware that they might be worked into my entries!
I must admit, my interest in Psychohistory is due to science fiction author Issac Asimov, who wrote the Foundation Series, so it might not be exactly professional.
But upon a little investigation, what I know of as psychohistory seems to be fairly close to the actual branch of study.

You're off to a good start, in my opinion, as far as taking observations, but I think you need to think MUCH more grandscheme.
When you notice something, you should be thinking not just about how this figures in with today, but what were the factors that led up to this, as well as where this will lead in the future.
Think of people's reactions, and how they may have changed over time.
Like the old veteran with your car keys. That was good, considering his mindset came from a different time. He is considered "Old fashioned".
What's your mindset? What will your childrens mindset be? Great great grandchildren? Consider the direction things are going, based on where they are, and where they came from.

My understanding of psychohistory is to try and determine where humanity as a whole is heading. Look to the past, and look to the future, is my advice.
Only then will you truely understand the present.
And girls with guns are frickin' hot!
