A lot of popular movies in America today are centered around hero's Batman, Spiderman, Hanckock, Iron Man. The reason why these movies are so popular right now is because they provide an escape for people because for those two hours that they are in the movie they don't have to think the economy or the problems they are facing. They are able to regress back to their childhood when they never had to worry about "adult" problems.
