Updates on mia Vida
Well, sorry for disappearing for so long...again.
We are in Mexico right now, the house we got is...WOW. I LOVE it. As soon as I can I will upload pics, promise but it is freaking awsome, it is not big or a mansion as some we were shown (The company had a budget for us...and thankfully Mexico being a 3rd. world country that means we would live reeeeeeal good)
BUT because most of those houses or mansions were not kid and/or dog friendly we had to decline and for security reasons. I told Harry "If people see us living here they will asume we are rich and as the situation is here..I am not willing to put my family at risk."
So we opted for a "smaller" house in a gated community and did I mention the house is freaking awsome? It is already furnished which is great taking in consideration that all our stuff will be shipped sometime next year, the furniture here is rustic, the main doors were rescued from a Hacienda and they are 100 years old or so. The minute we set foot in it we loved it, so ahh I am just so happy here.
Matt is doing great actually, enjoying the nice weather and being able to be outside all day long, there are a couple of schools nearby that I am considering for him, they look great and they are not as expensive as I thought they would be. Harry, weeeeeeeeeell he is adjusting to work here, the thing here is...he is the first one of the group of people that are moving down here, so things get a little complicated from time to time and he has to work everything out.
The dogs, hehe, one of them (my Joey) is great, really didnt mind the change, the German shepard...Jessie, well I guess she is the one who has been having some difficulty adjusting and everytime we open the door of the car she is ready to jump in and stare at us saying "Take me HOME!"
In other news, my sister was released from the hospital yesterday after being there for a month and a half and being really close to the unthinkable. She is well and it all started with post op complications...too long of a story to write at this time.
I am leaving for the US this week, I got to be in Columbus OH, reason being...the renewal of my green card. Scary part? I am going there ALL ALONE! bwaaah! Harry has to work, taking Matt would be more complicated so a cousin of mine is going to babysit while Harry is at work...and I am gonna be alone.
After almost 2 years I am going to be separated from Matt. I will cry at some point I am sure of it. But I might enjoy my 4 day vacation. Oh yeah, I am staying fro 4 days on my own, mostly because I need to finish cleaning the house over there and buy some stuff for down here. So I'm kind of worried cause my suitcase is going to be empty on the way there an packed on the way back, hope I can carry it.
I hope everyone is doing fine, I will try to read all of your journals and comment since I am so far behind.
