packaging question

Hi, I hope this isn't considered OT. Um, I have PSP9, but I had it loaded on a laptop that, at the end of last year, completely crashed. When I got home from school this summer I could only find the box, but not the disc, the instruction book, or anything. I was wondering--where exactly is the registration code to be found? I sort of want to know what I should be looking for.
