So far so good. They did a CT scan on Randy's father, and nothing showed up. The subjective symptoms (tingling, slurring of speech) may be easing. So the doctors are planning to keep him in the hospital overnight, but if nothing changes this may simply count as his second TIA.

I'm so glad. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping for the best.

(Let me know if you want to hear about my conclusions when I went cell-phone shopping a couple of years ago.)

And yes -- I'd love to hear about any wisdom you may have on the cell-phone front. This is not the time for me to *plan* phone calls, obviously, but don't be surprised if I call you in the next couple days -- not just to talk about cell-phones :-).
