2009: A Belated "My Year" Post
January- Turned 21, made some new friends, played in the ice
February-June- Finished up nursing school
July- Enjoyed some restful summer times
August- Passed my NCLEX!
September- Got a job, lost a fiance, got way too drunk way too often, lost what remaining self-respect I had, did some pretty serious damage to myself
October- Made a friend named Bill W., started on a road that will help me rebuild, dressed up like a Beat for halloween
November- Started getting a little bit of clarity, made some new friends, had a small epiphany
December- Had a huge epiphany, gleaned a bit more clarity and a little bit of serenity, gained respect and empathy for myself and others, moved in with my mom, went snow tubing, taught a friend to knit, went to a Flaming Lips show
Not a very bright-shining year, but I have faith that 2010 will be one of my best (and toughest) yet.
I don't want to make promises I can't keep, so I don't have any long term resolutions.
