I suddenly remember why I don't go to parties. There are a lot of people I genuinely don't like, and I can't seem to break this politeness habit of mine. I made it 2 1/4 hrs then made a break for it. It's much nicer here in the house, alone with the doggies, scaring the shit out of myself playing System Shock 2 - which by the way is amazing so far, but that just may be the Bioshock fan in me seeing the predecessor "live". The person I went to see at the party - I'll go to lunch with her next time and save myself the annoyance.
However - if you're a gamer - do yourself a favor - find "Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons". Play it. Be awestruck and amazed and get goosebumps from a story so beautiful, a game so simple, that you'll think about it for a very long time.
