Stress level is very high at work - my team is showing cracks, mainly caused by the other teams in the company meant to support us - and they're not doing it because they want to, they are buckling too - it's a snake eating its own tail. A couple of weeks and we'll hopefully have launched not only the new platform for one brand, but also a tablet optimized website for my main brand. Two HUGE projects scheduled for this year will be up and running. Yesterday I had one of my biweekly meetings with the senior staff to go over my stuff, and it was very rewarding to hear how happy they are with how things are going. Shocking, right? A year plus into it, and people still show appreciation? Folks at my previous jobs could take some lessons here.
Kelsey's having some issues lately not feeling well - she's asked me to accompany her to the doctors next week to talk through family history, because she's struggling with all over pain and fatigue. She kept calling me, or going to urgent care, and I finally talked her into starting a conversation with her primary care doctor, because the only way to try to figure out what is going on is to have consistent care with one person, and start just getting some tests done.
This summer is flying by. A little over a month till our big trip, a few weeks after that Tyler goes back to school, and it starts all over again.
