Today's the last day for one of my employees - next week I start to pick up everything she was doing, PLUS I kicked off a HUGE project that will involve almost half the company, all which needs to be done before my vacation the end of July. LOL - no pressure. This is the same project that sunk the last person in this position (on a different brand) - so it's put up or shut up time, and I'm DETERMINED to make this as smooth as possible, even though it means dragging some folks on the team into the modern age kicking and screaming by using project management tools that will help everyone once they take a moment to learn them - it will also help keep EVERYONE accountable and make everything transparent, so I feel good about it. I've always done better when I have a list of things that I can check off.  Keeps me sane.

The whole Kelsey wants to move off campus craziness that had us so upset has worked itself out - I've done up a very detailed budget and plan for Glenn and I going forward, and was able to sit down and explain that we could not go over the money we were already spending on her monthly that was going towards her tuition - that anything else would have to be provided by her working. She called me to say she did the same, and that she and the girl she was going to get the apartment with both decided they didn't need the stress of working just to pay rent while trying to do well in their junior year as well - and 2 nights ago they got a dorm apartment instead, so everything is rolled into the financial aid. I was very impressed with the lack of drama once she saw the numbers "in real life". It does mean that for the summer, she'll be crashing at her boyfriend's apartment so that she can work through the summer, and then move into the dorm apartment in August - but whatever, she's already been staying there 90% of the time anyhow. To be honest, on Easter Sunday, with both Kelsey and her boyfriend there, my mom was telling them they were stupid to pay rent on two apartments. =P

Restarted the Digest Diet this past Monday. Already down another 5 lbs, and this time it's very easy to stick with the 2 smoothies a day, healthy snack and awesome hearty soups for dinner. Today we move on to Phase 2, which is one smoothie a day, 2 snacks, a light lunch and a normal dinner with 1 glass of red wine. I actually lost more in this phase last time, so I'm excited to see what this does. 177 now...I'd love to hit 170 in the next 3-4 weeks.

Tyler gets inducted into his honor society on the 22nd - driving out to see that. He's hoping to get into a dorm with 2 friends, they will see what's open on the 16th. Otherwise, I never hear from him unless it's about video games or Dr. Who.

Speaking of video games...Bioshock Infinite....*happy sigh*  I allow myself 30 mins a day for that max - I REFUSE to rush through this, I'm enjoying every second. Add to that using the stationary bike while using the Rosetta Stone program to keep learning Dutch...I'm having fun.  =)
