Day 4 of the program - I've done "Yourself Fitness" 3 of the 4 days. Yesterday I saw no movement at all, and last night I was ready to throw in the towel because I just want to eat something SOLID - the soup is filling, the snacks are fulfilling, the shakes are tasty and make me feel good - but dear GOD I want a burger or some chicken or a piece of fish. I was talked out of it, which is good - went to bed, had to be up around 1:30am to babysit our site migrating from one backend setup to another, worked out at 5am, weighed in and measured myself, and I'm down another pound to 192. I've also lost 1/2 inch around my waist, hips and bust!! I'm sore, but in a "I really need to move more" way, not in a Fibro way.
Tomorrow is back to a more normal diet - 1 shake a day for either breakfast or lunch - 2 snacks (things like 20 pistachios and 10 baby carrots, or a banana, or 10 large red grapes, or even CHEESE!!!) - breakfasts of omellettes or oatmeal cakes - and dinners that include 1 glass (4 oz) of wine (and if you skip the wine, you need to have 10 grapes). YUMMY looking dinners. I'm excited.
Tyler is coming home tomorrow, and then again next weekend for Wreck It Ralph. Have barely heard from him or Kelsey this week.
My niece Alyssa turns 21 today. I remember babysitting her with Kelsey as a baby, and Alyssa insisting on one bite of baby food for every one Kelsey got. Now she's ordering drinks at the bar. Holy shit.
I'm so freaking tired. Don't know how long I'll last at work today, having gotten up at 1:30 - but at least I don't have meetings.
Yesterday I was in a training session, and an email came through from one of our vendors - one of the staff I work closely with died unexpectedly. Very young guy. It was like a punch in the gut. We're trying to find out what charities or things he loved, so we can donate in his name. SO sad, only a few years older than Kelsey. =(
