I cannot believe how quickly I felt better from that cold. I was feeling MISERABLE. I was coughing up nasty stuff, blowing my nose to the point it's chapped, and just wanting to hide under the covers.
But by that evening, I was feeling better. It was easier to sleep, and I woke up with a slight cough and nothing more. Feeling GREAT.
I'm not complaining. I'm just kinda weirded out. This doesn't happen. I feel miserable for days on end when I get sick.
Finally cooling down today - rainy weekend which I'm looking forward to (ok, it's an excuse to not do yard work - whatever) - trip to Cincinnati on Monday. 2 more interviews today, one more Monday, and then I start all over for more openings. It's really tiring, more than I'd have guessed.
I am sad because it looks like I can't go to Tyler's Accepted Students Day on Friday - I took the day off, but my boss keeps forgetting, and we have a vendor coming in Thursday afternoon and all day Friday and a huge part of these meetings is really my responsibility. After seeing the schedule, I know I have to be there, and it kinda sucks - but then again I've already done the tour of Becker, and all the Financial Aid and such is done, so it won't have a negative impact. Glenn can take him, and Glenn had to work during the last get together, so now he gets to see it. Tyler is bummed, but this is too important. Just have to make sure they get the all important college stickers for the back of the cars, and Kelsey asked for a tshirt - "So I can show off where my baby brother is going!" (..... what? LOL!)
