A light at the end of the tunnel, just heard from my friend that she accepted a job here - that does two amazing things - takes a lot of pressure off me doing a job I only partially understand and hope I'm not screwing up, and more importantly, puts her back in my life on a very regular basis, which is making me so happy I could cry. So at most, another month, and then watch the hell out...between her and I, this place won't know what hit them.
Kelsey should have gotten the money from her friend today that we sent her via a check to her friend's parent...her host family was wonderful and had donated 100 euros to her, so I know she was covered for a bit - but this will see her through her jaunt through Austria. Right now I'm trying to find a cheap iPhone 3Gs for her - after all, she lost both her phone and her ipod, so 2 birds, meet 1 stone...but apparently I'm not eligible for an upgrade on her number until tomorrow. Right now it'd cost $299 for a 3Gs. Not. I know someone whose boyfriend got the new one, and the old one is sitting in a box - asked if maybe he might be interested in selling it...nope. He wants to hang on to it. =/ I'd love to get one for her, have Tyler walk me through the crap that is iTunes and download her songs for her, and send it over with her check card...then she'd also have a form of a camera...guess we'll see how "discounted" it is tomorrow.
Ty is very frustrated - he had a game preordered literally for YEARS, and it came out yesterday, but in true form of this particular publisher, they screwed up launch day, and he can't play. Seems that somehow, many of the accounts that are required to play got flagged as accounts that are not US accounts - even though everything in the management screen on the site shows that he is in the US - and those players keep being told that the service is "temporarily unavailable". He spent $100 on the collectors edition, and it has literally been useless to him because of some screw up on their billing end which they have yet to fix. I feel bad for him...luckily his friends kidnapped him last night and he had a blast with them. Today is his 2nd to last driving class...omg...
Back to work...unbelievably buried...but the day is FLYING by, which is good I guess?
