Wow
Serious hit by a truck syndrome this morning. I woke up with my head pounding, and got out of bed and wondered when I sprained both my ankles. My very skeleton feels like it's burning and bruised. I don't know why - I did nothing physical, the only thing I can think of is high emotions and some stress related to my therapy appt, and some stuff at work (good stress at work, but it's still stress nonetheless). I see my rheumatologist tomorrow morning. I'm going to ask him to rerun some of the tests, and if I get the same resistance, I am going to ask my primary care for a referral to a different rheumatologist. My therapist recommended I do some research and find one at Mass General or Beth Israel who specializes in lupus and other autoimmune diseases, and just go to that person, and just cancel my appt for tomorrow - but I'm going to still go, express my concerns, and move on from there. Besides, my primary care is on leave until Sept. anyhow. That's not that far off.
