Maybe I'm still in the honeymoon phase here at work, but honestly, every day I wonder how I lucked out the way I have. Being in a place that fosters the passion, being with people that recognize it and applaud it, it's seriously awesome.
Kelsey is having her 17th bday party tonight, with about 20 of her friends coming. It is an outdoor party. *considers the pouring rain outside the window* Yeah...maybe not so much, but 20 kids in my house for 4 hours...I thought we outgrew that with elementary school parties! Thank god for video games, I guess? It's gonna be noisy! =(
Speaking of Kelsey, as of yesterday she can drive anyone she wants around (except between the hours of midnight and 5am still). The first place she wanted to go was Hampton Beach. Um no. LOL. I told her now she has to work on her "asking for gas money" skills...
Feeling down & quiet today, as always happens on July 31st, but the day is flying by and the weekend looks quiet other than a birthday party for my youngest nephew tomorrow midday. Next week looks like my first "normal" week since I got here, so I'm psyched to get some projects going, and really dig in. Yes, work is my thing to look forward to. No, that is not a bad thing. (Yes, I have therapy next week LOL).
