ugh
These infections suck because the cure is as bad as the disease. Sulfa drugs kick these infections quickly, which is great - but they kick my ass while they are at it. Headache, nausea, exhaustion, totally no appetite. I only have to take 6 - I'm half way thru - but damn it's awful.
Sitting at the car dealership using their wireless network and really nice workstations to work while i wait to spend more money on my car. At least I don't have to take any personal time to do errands like this, which is very nice. And I got here early enough to actually get one of the workstations, note to self if I do this again in the future, be sure to get here early or end up sitting with everything perched on my lap while I try to work, like all these other people. Strange environment tho, it's like a library, dead silence broken only by the clicks of laptop keys.
The aforementioned lack of appetite isn't bad - I know that skipping 2 meals does not do much, but I hit the scale this morning to see 4 lbs gone - 181 - which hopefully means that my exercise and attention to calories is starting to kick in? *crosses fingers* And I have also cut out drinking my beer at night - although I'm not sure that actually does much, but we'll see.
Cold....rainy...this would be a perfect day to hide under the covers all warm and cozy and just laze away the day. *sigh* If only.
