At least I hope so - the kitchen was partly completed last week, with the wrong cabinets having been delivered, and the contractor not telling me until the MORNING OF the work (after I had made arrangements to work at home for three days) - the countertops were put in (and look amazing...don't know when I'll stop needing to touch them every time I walk by), along with the super deep, beautiful handmade stainless steel sink and sexy faucet. The next day the plumber came by and hooked up the dishwasher and sink, and the water in the house could be turned back on (don't ask). Today the countertop backsplash is due to be installed, and the cabinets refaced, and storage racks installed. The contractor hasn't contacted me yet to either verify he's coming or tell me there's issues - there better not be.
My new team member is as amazing as I expected - and after a week of interviews, I made an offer to fill one of my two open positions, and it was accepted - and not only was it accepted, it was accepted by one of the three that just left, who is amazing and fantastic and will jump RIGHT IN and take so much off my shoulders I cannot wait.
I'm thinking that all this has been stressing me out more than I realized, because now that so much is starting to come together, I'm hurting. My back, my ribs, my neck - all feeling that stiff/sore/bruised/joints hurting fibro fun.
That's ok. =) It's always better than it has been in the past.
