During dinner last night, Kelsey was talking about how she feels like she's one of the only Marine Bio majors that hasn't done an internship yet. Apparently there's this one kid that makes her crazy, bragging about his experiences, getting special attention from the professor, and already having scored a job with sharks because of his experience.
And she wants to take a semester off and go do an internship. For 4-8 weeks.

We told her to go find out about things - talk to the department at school that helps arrange for semesters abroad. Talk to her advisor. Talk to her professor.
I think it would be very cool. But i can't help but wish we were talking about dolphins or manatees. At the Boston Aquarium. *sigh*
And it's not like she's talking next school year. She's talking January. And she's talking about following up with an internship at the Aquarium of the Pacific. Cause you know, Kelsey half way across the world or all the way across the country is still Kelsey too far away. =(
