Title: One Night (although it isn't really)
Pairing: Leon X D
Rating: G, General, all that
Appearing: Father D, Grandfather D and the usual cast of characters.
This continues the arc that I started a few weeks ago and brings me one step closer to trying to figure out how synchronous hermaphrodites actually give birth. Stay tuned!
As always, I own ( Read more... )

Egads, and 9 months is already too long. Poor D.

I did read Dreams and the Detective, but found it a bit hard to follow. Probably because it was supposed to be dream and not make much sense, yes? English is not my first language, so I prefer more straight forward stories...not to say it stunk or anything though.

Thank you! I really appreciate the honesty - I needed to hear that (and the comment below, too) cause I wrote that in a hurry (usually I walk away for a day or two (5, 10) and think about it) and I wasn't too terribly 'happy with it when I posted. It is choppy and it needs more segueway and all that. I think I'll shall massage it a bit and possibly repost, since D and Leon deserve good fic. Thanks and have a cookie!

Your food descriptions always sound so yummy, now I wish it was closer to lunchtime! I enjoyed the phrase "searching for the one who had nailed Q-chan" in the middle of an otherwise serious-toned fic, too. So very "Leon." Cracked me up. Also an intriguing notion--I can't wait to see who Q-Chan's mystery lover turns out to be.

I did read your dreamscape fic, but didn't comment on it. I hate to say it but it just didn't seem on a par with your usual offerings. The scenes shifted abruptly in a way that I assume you intended to be dreamlike, but the scenes themselves seemed too linear and logical for a dream. Maybe if you inserted some incidental randomness here and there? Meh, I'm not expressing myself very well; I hope you get what I mean, but I wouldn't be surprised if you don't. Sorry. I tried. Do I get still a cookie for trying?

The stage is set...I just have to figure out the placement of the props. By this weekend, I hope.
Thank you for commenting homestly on "Dreams + Detective" - as I said above, I was in a hurry and did not cogitate, so you are absolutely right, it was not as good as it could have been. I am glad to hear that I have 'par' to be up to, though - that makes me very happy, indeed. I shall probably try a rework, cause I still like the idea, and I thank you very much for your feedback - I do get what you mean and I appreciate that you told me.
Of course you may have cookies! The usual Tollhouse or would you prefer white chocolate with caramel praline? Or maybe Snickerdoodles or rum balls?

Well, I finally finished reading the four stories together XD (I had already read them each, as soon as published, but it suddenly stopped making any sense; I HAD to reread, thanks to my fish-memory)

I must say that the story is nice ^-^ Delightful, I'd dare!! I have found many unexpected yet enjoyable things so far... Great, great; I just hope you write some more soon, because, like, what a cliffhanger!! =D
