Interesting. Makes me wonder about what's really going on. There are so many possiblities...Leon is actually actively haunting D's dreams, either after his death, or while still alive. Leon is subconciously doing it, or maybe Leon isn't even doing it, but the echo of Leon's frustration and confusion. Or D's own guilt is eating away at him. My head is spinning with fic ideas.
Thanks for such a thought-provoking and well written piece.
Blessings,
Thursday

Thank YOU for that. I was just wondering if this was too confusing and random - I was actually going to go and delete it today. Don't know where it came from, but it was there, with all it's freaky ideas.

^_^ Thank you for that, again. I'm glad you liked it.

For some reason, this reminds me of the scene in the last volume, where Leon threw the animal down at D's feet, and D has this look. In case you don't know, killing an animal and laying it at the feet of another whom you would have as a mate is a courtship ritual in many animal families, not the least of all wolves...

Anyway, I guess the reason this reminds me of it is because another courtship ritual in the animal kingdom is for the male to chase the female until she can't run anymore, and then capture her and fight her.. I dunno, this reminds me of that for some reason, and it also brings to mind what Thursday said above.

I'm very glad you didn't delete this, now you've got my head whirling with ideas.
