Huge 1x06
I continue to really like this show. No, it's not subtle, but it's so, so, true. I have a mad crush on Alistair/Athena - he's just so awesome, putting himself out there, figuring out how to keep Trent safe. Other favorite moments: Becca in the tent with Trent and Chloe, not asleep; Poppy and George's power struggle. I continue to find Dr. Rand much less convincing and well-written than the younger characters - why is Gina Torres playing an insecure teenager, exactly? I did think they came up with a plausible way to deliver a George/Amber kiss without it being clearly sketchy of George. A very good episode for shipping all around - I wish there was a Huge fandom, I'd like to see the Trent/Alistair and Amber/Will people would write based on this episode (and the Will/Ian, Trent/Ian, etc...). I have no idea if it works like this, but I wonder if I could *create* a Huge fandom? If I built a community, would they come? Hmmm.
